Mews Cottages
Converted from an historic stone and pantile barn, the four two-storey Mews cottages have Enjoy England three-star status. Each has two bedrooms upstairs with lovely views over the garden to the countryside from the double bedrooms. Each double bed has an electric blanket and there are Velux windows in the second bedrooms.
Downstairs are open-plan living rooms including a fully-equipped kitchen area with full four-ring oven and grill, microwave, and fridge with freezer drawer. They also have a cafetiere, kettle, toaster and sandwich maker. There is good cupboard space and books, games and jig-saw puzzles are provided.
The shower rooms with w.c. and handbasin are downstairs and have a heated towel rail, room heater and shaver point. The cottages all have a storage heater in the living room , the use of which is included in the price. There is a £1.00 coin meter for additional electricity (subsidised) .
We provide bed linen, towel hire, kitchen linen, toiletries and cleaning materials. Electric blankets are on all double beds.
MEWS COTTAGE ONE
The smallest of the four cottages, sleeps three people,
with a double bedroom and a single bedroom which has an additional small window
overlooking the fields. It has laminate flooring throughout and the living room
has a leather sofa with dining table overlooking the garden and orchard. This
cottage has a car-parking space next to it.
MEWS COTTAGE TWO
Sleeps four in double and twin bedrooms. There is
laminate flooring throughout. It has a sofa and tub chairs in the living
room and dining table overlooking the gardens and orchard.
MEWS COTTAGE THREE
The largest of the mews cottages, sleeping five
with a pine main bedroom with king bed and a dual -control electric blanket.
The second bedroom has a single bed and adult-size bunk beds. The living room
has a wool carpet, a large leather sofa, chairs and a dining table overlooking the
garden and orchard. This cottage has a washer/dryer and a fully-tiled shower
room.
MEWS COTTAGE FOUR
Another of the larger mews cottages, has a double
and a twin bedroom , one bed being 2ft. 6in. width. The living room has a wool
carpet , comfortable sofa and chairs. The dining table overlooks the garden and
orchard. This cottage has a washer/dryer and a fully-tiled shower room.
THE GARDEN
There is a large shared fenced and gated garden with a patio and garden furniture,
including loungers and a lawned orchard with an old stone well and sundial.
CAR PARKING IS AVAILABLE FOR TWO CARS PER COTTAGE
